The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Turkmenistan has assumed his duties

On December 5, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova received the credentials of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Turkmenistan, Saif bin Rashid bin Saif Al-Jahwari.

On behalf of the head of Turkmenistan, the leader of the national Parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to this responsible position, wishing him success in his noble mission to strengthen friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, the representative of the friendly state conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the leadership of the Sultanate of Oman to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, under whose wise leadership independent and neutral Turkmenistan is successfully implementing progressive policies.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of Turkmenistan’s constructive initiatives to strengthen the foundations of peace, stability, and prosperity on a global scale.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Oman was thoroughly briefed on the multifaceted activities and structure of the Mejlis as part of the ongoing comprehensive modernization of the national legal framework.

The diplomat emphasized his country's interest in intensifying partnership with Turkmenistan across various areas, including political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

At the conclusion of the meeting, confidence was expressed in the broad prospects of Turkmen-Omani cooperation. The readiness to expand inter-parliamentary ties, which serve as an important factor in strengthening bilateral relations, was also highlighted.
