Lebap velayat stage of the "Teacher of the Year — 2026" contest held

The Lebap velayat stage of the "Teacher of the Year — 2026" contest took place at the specialized secondary school No. 41 in the city of Turkmenabat. It was attended by teachers who emerged victorious in the preliminary rounds of the competition.

As part of the contest, the methodological and scientific works of the teachers were analyzed, and their professional mastery, skills, and abilities were evaluated.

As a result, Annagozel Jumageldiyeva, an English teacher at secondary school No. 4 in Halach etrap, took first place. Aman Berdimyradov, a biology teacher at specialized secondary school No. 39 in the city of Turkmenabat, and Enejan Ereshova, a geography teacher at secondary school No. 12 in Charjew etrap, were awarded second place. Aysoltan Amanmedowa, a mathematics teacher at specialized secondary school No. 4 in Sayat etrap, Dilshat Yarashova, an English teacher at secondary school No. 1 in Darganata etrap, and Tatyana Yevdokimova, a Russian language teacher at specialized secondary school No. 19 in Danew etrap, claimed third place.

The winners of the contest were presented with Certificates of Honor from the Main Education Department of the velayat and commemorative gifts from the velayat association of the Trade Unions of Turkmenistan.

The "Teacher of the Year" contest is organized annually by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with the aim of professional development for teachers and the dissemination of their advanced work practices.
