A volleyball competition called the ‘Turkmenistan Cup — 2026’ was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

In the era of the Renaissance of the new epoch of a powerful state, under the patronage of Hero Arkadag and the leadership of the Honorable President, every day of the year “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the homeland of determined winged steeds” is marked by great achievements and significant events in the field of sports.

From March 24 to 30, 2026, the Turkmenistan Volleyball Federation organized a volleyball competition among the country’s men’s club teams called the “Turkmenistan Cup — 2026.”

The tournament featured the 10 strongest teams in the country. In a tense competition, the volleyball team “Nebitçi” of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and the “Gala” team from the Ministry of National Security of Turkmenistan advanced to the final stage. The final match was highly competitive, and the “Nebitçi” team of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University managed to win the Turkmenistan Cup for the second consecutive time.

To achieve high results in future competitions, the sports complex of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University conducts training sessions in volleyball and other sports.
