From March 24 to 28, 2025, the Open International Mathematics Olympiad (OMOUS-2026) was held among students of higher educational institutions at the initiative of the International University for the Humanities and Development. A team from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University took part in this Olympiad.
Students of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas UniversityBendov Kerimguly and Khayytmuhammedov Islam performed successfully at the Olympiad and were awarded gold medals. University students Annageldiyev Halymmuhammet, Garlyyev Oguzhan, and Myratgeldiyev Halmyrat took second place and received silver medals, while Saryyev Yazmuhammet and Ovezdurdiyev Ayhan took third place and were awarded bronze medals. These achievements became a symbolic gift for the 35th anniversary of Independence.
Students from higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Greece, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Federal Republic of Germany, Hungary, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the United Arab Emirates took part in this competition.
The successes achieved at the international level are the result of the state policy pursued in the education system of our country. These victories demonstrate the emergence of new talented young people in the field of science and education, as well as the international recognition of their knowledge and skills.
