Leading universities of Malaysia took part in the international exhibition “Turkmentravel – 2026,” where they presented a pavilion dedicated to promoting higher education opportunities and academic programs for applicants from Turkmenistan. This was reported by the online newspaper “Turkmenistan: Golden age.”
In addition to participating in the exhibition, the delegation visited the “Diller Dünýäsi” language center in Ashgabat.
Students actively asked questions about study opportunities in Malaysia, student life, and international programs. In turn, the guests shared insights into modern trends in education and emphasized the importance of foreign language proficiency in the context of globalization.
Speaking at the meeting, Tajul Ariffin Bin Shamsuddin, Manager of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome:
“It is a great honor for us to be in Turkmenistan and to meet such motivated and talented young people. Participation in ‘Turkmentravel – 2026’ and our visit to ‘Diller Dünýäsi’ open up new opportunities for students and contribute to strengthening educational ties between Malaysia and Turkmenistan. We are sincerely inspired by the interest in language learning and the aspiration for international development.”
