NEW TEXTBOOK PUBLISHED FOR GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS

A new textbook titled “Persian Language (Second Foreign Language)” has been published in Turkmenistan for Grade 6 students of general education schools. The textbook was authored by B. Ataniyazova, B. Akmammedova, and A. Ashyrova and released by the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan in 2026.

The publication was developed in accordance with the national curriculum and aims to further improve foreign language teaching methodologies. It includes revision materials from Grade 5 as well as new topics related to grammar, vocabulary, family, school, seasons, professions, numbers, dialogues, and other essential language areas.

The textbook also features additional reading materials, a glossary, and colorful illustrations that make learning more engaging and effective. The new publication is expected to help students strengthen their reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking skills in Persian while broadening their understanding of culture and traditions.
