The Olympiads in mathematics, chemistry, and computer science among 11th–12th grade students of secondary schools in the country were held as an individual competition in two stages. In the first stage, school students from all velayats, as well as from the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, participated in an online format. The tasks in mathematics, chemistry, and computer science offered to the participants were prepared by an organizing committee established at the university, based on the secondary school curriculum, and were in a test format.

In the first stage of the competition, a total of 695 students from all velayats of the country, as well as from the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, took part. Based on the total number of points scored, the winners of the first stage were determined.

As a result of the first stage, 189 talented students qualified to participate in the second stage of the competition, which was held on April 25, 2026, at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.

The results of the tasks completed by the students who participated in the second stage were analyzed and evaluated by the members of the jury. Based on the jury’s decision, the students declared winners were awarded diplomas of I, II, and III degrees on behalf of the university rector.

School students who arrived from various parts of the country were thoroughly introduced to the university’s faculties, academic buildings, laboratories, museums, and sports complex. Students who demonstrated high results were invited to continue their studies at the university after completing school.
