“Happy Heroes of the New Era of the Revived State”

The Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan recently organized a creative competition titled “Berkarar döwletiň täze eýýamynyň bagtyýar gerçekleri” (Happy Heroes of the New Era of the Revived State). Held at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, the event was dedicated to the year 2026, themed “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan — Land of Prosperity and Rapid Advancement,” and in honor of Victory Day.

The competition aimed to showcase the talents and abilities of male university students. Top students representing the university's five faculties competed according to the established rules:

Serdar Myradow – 2nd-year student, Faculty of Cyber-Physical Systems.

Öwez Şamyradow – 1st-year student, Faculty of Economy of Innovations.

Döwlet Nurgeldiýew – 3rd-year student, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technologies.

Döwlet Merdandurdyýew – 1st-year student, Faculty of Biotechnology and Ecology.

Ýusup Gowalow – 4th-year student, Faculty of Chemical and Nanotechnologies.

The performances were evaluated by a jury panel consisting of prominent cultural figures, artists, and creative professionals from across the country.

The primary objective of the contest is to pass down ancestral values—such as bravery, patriotism, high morality, honesty, and hard work—to the younger generation. It also aims to: study the national spiritual and literary heritage of the Turkmen people, promote spiritual and moral values and healthy lifestyles, foster the development of well-rounded, sophisticated youth across various professional fields, highlight Turkmen traditions, etiquette, and national identity.

Following a highly competitive event, Serdar Myradow, a 2nd-year student at the Faculty of Cyber-Physical Systems, was awarded the Grand Prize. With this victory, he earned the right to represent the university in the upcoming final national round among higher education institutions. At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their profound gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the extensive opportunities provided to the youth of Turkmenistan.
