International round table meeting held with participation of Turkmen and Romanian specialists

Faculty and students of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University participated in an international meeting dedicated to the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse. The event, organized digitally in cooperation with the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Romania, was held as part of the year «Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses». The hybrid-format conference was attended by representatives of the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding, the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest, the "Ion Ionescu de la Brad" Iași University of Life Sciences, and horse breeding experts from Romania.

During the meeting, engaging discussions were held regarding the rapid development of Turkmenistan, the global fame of Turkmen horses, and the achievements of the "Galkynysh" National Equestrian Games group. Participants deliberated on crucial topics such as the sustainable development of the horse breeding industry, veterinary science, agriculture, and the exchange of experience between higher education institutions of the two countries.

It is worth noting that the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2017 between the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the relevant university in Bucharest serves as a solid foundation for these relations. Within the framework of this document, the parties continue effective cooperation in the fields of education, science, and innovation.
