Political dialogue titled “Turkmen–Kazakh Relations”

Turkmenistan, at a new historical stage of its development — in the era of the Revival of a new epoch of a powerful state — together with other countries is building paths of friendship and solidarity, contributing to the strengthening of universal peace and sustainable economic development. The esteemed President was on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 21–22, 2026.

 The historical and cultural commonality of the peoples of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the centuries-old traditions of cooperation in trade and humanitarian spheres, as well as efforts aimed at peace, harmony, and social development, form the basis of traditionally friendly relations and good-neighborliness between the two countries. Kazakhstan is a country with a rich history and cultural heritage.

 The international documents signed during the visit at the interstate, intergovernmental, and interagency levels serve as the foundation of a solid legal and contractual framework covering a wide range of priority areas of Turkmen–Kazakh cooperation.

This visit, having defined the priority areas of interaction between the states on the international arena, gave a strong impetus to the expansion and strengthening of relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan and raised them to a qualitatively new level.

On the significance of the esteemed President’s visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, in cooperation with the “Altyn Asyr” TV channel of Turkmenistan, prepared a discussion and presented it to television viewers.
