A NEW TEXTBOOK FOR GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

A new textbook titled “Household Skills” has been published in Turkmenistan for Grade 5 students of general education schools with Russian as the language of instruction. The textbook was authored by A. Yegenova and A. Khojayeva and released by the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan in 2026.

The publication has been developed in line with the national curriculum and aims to equip students with practical skills necessary for everyday life. It builds on knowledge acquired in primary school and reinforces it through hands-on activities related to household tasks and practical work.

The textbook places special emphasis on fostering respect for work, independence, and responsibility among students. It contributes to the development of well-rounded individuals prepared for family and social life by combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
