A Turkmen student takes 1st place in a linguistics competition in Moscow

Medine Sopytaganova, a 4th-year student of the Faculty of History at Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, has become the winner of the International Russian Language Olympiad «Homo dicens». This was reported by online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».
The prestigious competition was organized by the Moscow City University in cooperation with the Institute of Humanities (Russian Federation). This year, around 200 students from Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Serbia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan took part in the Olympiad.
The competition program consisted of two stages, during which participants demonstrated a deep level of knowledge, speaking skills, and a high command of the Russian language. Based on the results of all rounds, the jury awarded Medine Sopytaganova first place and presented her with a First Degree Diploma.
