Political dialogue titled «Turkmen–Chinese Cooperation»

“On May 5, 2026, declared the year under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” the faculty of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, together with the “Altyn Asyr” Turkmenistan TV channel, held a roundtable discussion devoted to the fact that political and diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and China have gained significant importance in recent years, primarily due to their continuity and consistency.

Speakers discussed a new chapter in Turkmen–Chinese relations. The history of relations between the Turkmen and Chinese peoples dates back to deep antiquity, with roots going back thousands of years. The People’s Republic of China is one of the world’s economically and industrially developed countries, possessing a large-scale and promising market. The fuel and energy sector is one of the priority areas of Turkmen–Chinese cooperation. Friendly and brotherly relations between the peoples of Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China will continue to strengthen. Participants proudly noted that united efforts aimed at transforming neutral Turkmenistan into an exemplary country are changing our lives.
