NEW “TECHNICAL LABOR” TEXTBOOK PUBLISHED FOR 5TH GRADE STUDENTS

During the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, under the leadership of Hero Arkadagly Serdar, Turkmenistan continues to modernize its education system, strengthen the educational and methodological framework, and create broad opportunities for the comprehensive development of the younger generation. Particular attention is being paid to fostering practical skills, creative thinking, and a strong work ethic among schoolchildren.

In this regard, the publication of the new textbook “Technical Labor” for 5th-grade students of general secondary schools with Russian-language instruction has become an important event (authors: B. Geldiyev, Ye. Sotnikova, A. Charyyeva — Ashgabat: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2026).

The textbook has been prepared in accordance with modern educational standards and is distinguished by its up-to-date content, practical orientation, and accessible presentation of the material. During the course, students will learn the technology of working with clay and producing various handmade items, study the properties and uses of wood, and develop skills in using hand tools applied in woodworking.

Special emphasis is placed on observing safety regulations while carrying out practical tasks. The new textbook is aimed at developing students’ labor skills, creativity, and technical thinking, thereby contributing to their comprehensive development and future professional orientation.
