At the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, a round-table discussion on the topic “International Cooperation” was recorded, with the participation of a Member of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, university professors and students.
In their speeches, a Member of the Mejlis and university lecturers noted that the launch of construction works on a facility designed to process 10 billion m³ of commercial gas per year, as well as drilling production wells as part of the 4th stage of development of the “Galkynyş” gas field, which took place on 17 April 2026 with the blessing of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero Arkadag, in a solemn ceremony, represents one of the largest energy events in the country. The speakers emphasized that this project also plays a very important role in international cooperation.
Students addressed a Member of the Mejlis with questions about the legal status of this historic gas flow and recorded a conversation in which he answered the students and shared interesting stories about the construction of the gas pipeline supplying gas to the People’s Republic of China, as well as about Turkmen–Chinese friendship and fraternal relations.
In the era of the Renaissance of the new epoch of the powerful state, Turkmenistan’s energy policy is aimed not only at increasing export volumes, but also at the technological modernization of the fuel and energy complex, the speakers noted with great enthusiasm, also emphasizing achievements in international cooperation. In promoting the country’s international cooperation and historical events, such meetings are widely held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.
