Sustainable Development Event Held for School Students

A meaningful event dedicated to the Sustainable Development Goals was organized for school students at Specialized Secondary School No. 116 in Ashgabat by the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. The event was arranged with the aim of developing ecological awareness among the younger generation, promoting environmental protection, and fostering a sense of responsibility.
During the event, university students provided engaging explanations to the schoolchildren about the main concepts of sustainable development, including environmental protection, water and energy conservation, and waste reduction. In addition, through various games, question-and-answer sessions, and group activities, the students were able to understand and absorb the new information more effectively.
The schoolchildren actively participated in the event, expressed their opinions, and presented their own suggestions on environmental protection. This demonstrated their growing interest in sustainable development issues.
At the end of the event, commemorative gifts were presented to the participants, and the importance of continuing such activities in the future was emphasized. This event not only provided educational value but also made a significant contribution to promoting environmental awareness and ecological culture among the younger generation.
