A meeting was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov with representatives of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University Hannover of the Federal Republic of Germany. The meeting was attended by Georg Gugenberger, a professor at the Institute of Soil Science of the German higher education institution, and Olga Shibistova, a researcher at the Institute of Earth System Sciences. This international cooperation event was organized with the aim of adopting advanced practices for the rational use of land and water resources in the agricultural sector of our country, and introducing digital and "smart" technologies into the industry. During the meeting, the parties thoroughly exchanged views on forming a modern farming system and applying new agrotechnical methods.
The faculty and professors of the Turkmen Agricultural University discussed with their foreign colleagues the possibilities of using more advanced technologies in farming and transitioning the sector to a digital system. The parties identified specific directions for further developing scientific and practical cooperation between the two higher education institutions in the future.
