New textbook by a scientist from the Turkmen Agricultural University published

A new textbook titled "Zoohygiene," approved by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and written by Tore Garlyyev, Associate Professor at Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, has been published. The book, prepared for publication by the Turkmen State Publishing Service and intended for higher education students, was printed in high quality at the university's own printing house. This was reported on the official website of the Turkmen Agricultural University.

The new publication will primarily serve as a guide for students studying in veterinary medicine fields, as well as for relevant specialists at an International Horse Breeding Academy named after Aba Annayev and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.

The textbook provides comprehensive coverage of the science of zoohygiene and its operational methods in production. The publication explains on a scientific basis the quality of the environment—namely air, soil, water, and feed—and their impacts on the animal body. Furthermore, modern veterinary and sanitary approaches, methods, and innovative scientific rules that help strengthen animal health, increase productivity, and eliminate various unfavorable conditions are presented in this book as a sustainable guide for practical implementation in production.

In separate chapters of the new book, the hygiene of keeping horses, dogs, cattle, camels, and various birds, including broiler and turkey production in Turkmenistan, and even fish farming in artificial reservoirs, is described individually. Most notably, the management of Akhal-Teke horses, requirements for stables, the history of shoeing, and modern equipment are detailed through extensive and engaging information. In addition, the veterinary-sanitary and hygienic rules to be observed when transporting animals and birds from one place to another by various means of transport stand as a valuable source for future specialists.
