Representatives of the National Research University "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" of the Republic of Uzbekistan have recently completed their professional internship in Turkmenistan. The event, which took place from May 16 to June 1, was organized within the framework of the bilateral Agreement concluded with the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov. To participate in the internship program, 19 students and 2 teachers arrived in our capital from the neighboring state. This was reported on the official website of the Turkmen higher educational institution.
During the organized visit, the foreign guests visited several large enterprises belonging to the agricultural and water management sectors of Turkmenistan. In particular, they got closely acquainted with the operations of the "Gidropark" water pumping station and «Obahyzmat» production enterprise of the Ak Bugday etrap. Furthermore, the Uzbek specialists and students actively participated in classes and practical sessions organized by the faculty and professors of the Turkmen Agricultural University.
The program of the visit was not limited to production and science alone, but also included extensive cultural activities. The Uzbek representatives toured the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the State Central Botanical Garden, and the "Tashkent" park in the capital. Rustam Hudaykulov, a teacher of the Uzbek delegation, expressed his gratitude to his Turkmen colleagues for the high hospitality shown and the excellent conditions created for the exchange of experience.
This scientific and humanitarian cooperation between the two higher education institutions will actively continue in the future. As the next step in these established effective relations, the faculty and students of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov are expected to be sent to the Republic of Uzbekistan soon to undergo their internship.
