A ceremony for handing over educational, scientific-theoretical, and fiction literature within the framework of the «Read Japan Project» program of Japan's «Nippon» Foundation took place at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan Hiroshi Sasaki specially attended this significant event. This was reported on the website of the higher education institution.
The donated books include valuable literature on Japanese science, environmental protection, sustainable development goals, clean energy, and "green" technologies. Also among the new publications are dictionaries and works about Japanese culture, art, language, and literature.
As part of the ceremony, the distinguished guests closely familiarized themselves with the structure, educational curriculums, and ongoing scientific and creative work of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov. The Japanese representatives confirmed their great interest in establishing new mutually beneficial relations and partnership projects with the higher education institution in the future.
During the meeting held with the university administrators and faculty members, it was specifically emphasized that Turkmen-Japanese scientific and educational relations are being consistently developed in accordance with modern requirements. As the parties pointed out, these books presented to our country's higher education institutions based on the «Read Japan Project» serve as a clear proof of the further strengthening of humanitarian, cultural, and educational cooperation between the two states.
