Winners of the international scientific project competition awarded at the Agricultural University

The awarding ceremony for the winners of the international scientific project competition among students of local and foreign higher education institutions, titled "The Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals," took place at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov on the occasion of the glorious 35th anniversary of holy Independence and World Environment Day. Organized for the fourth time in cooperation with the Ministries of Education, Agriculture, and Environmental Protection, this competition aims to strengthen international scientific and educational partnership and encourage the creative abilities of youth. This was reported on the website of the higher education institution.

Nearly 150 scientific papers from Turkmenistan, as well as countries such as Azerbaijan, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Romania, were submitted to the first stage of the international competition. Following an in-depth analysis by the jury, 45 scientific projects found to be the most viable qualified for the next stage.

According to the final results of the competition, the authors of 28 scientific projects were declared winners, including 20 local and 8 foreign students. Based on the results of the contest, 5 projects were awarded first place, 9 projects took second place, 14 projects won third place, and an additional 14 students were presented with special encouragement prizes.

As part of the awarding ceremony, a special exhibition showcasing the work carried out in our country to protect biodiversity and the environment was organized at the University's Cultural Center. The event continued with beautiful musical performances prepared by the higher education institution's amateur art group, bringing a festive spirit to the participants.
