A scientific conference on ecology was held at the Turkmen Agricultural University

A scientific-practical conference titled "Ecological Well-being is the Guarantee of Sustainable Development" was organized at the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S. A. Niyazov on the occasion of World Environment Day. During the event, which was attended by professors, teaching staff, postgraduate students, and students, interesting presentations were delivered on ecological culture, providing ecological education to youth, and the environmental policy of our country. At the conference, special attention was drawn to the principles of the Turkmen people's careful approach to nature. As noted, the historical transformations implemented in our country create great conditions for enriching flora and fauna. The scientific meeting continued its work in several sections focusing on areas such as sustainable development, agro-ecological impacts, ecological education, and modern technologies.

Currently, at the university's Faculty of Agroecology, environmental protection is studied on a scientific basis, and highly qualified specialists are trained in this field. Issues of ensuring ecological safety and the rational use of natural resources are reflected in the National Strategies and forest programs of Turkmenistan. The conference participants expressed their sincere gratitude to our Head of State for the opportunities created in the field of nature protection.
