Turkmen University hosts eco-event in honor of World Environment Day

On June 5, a two-day ecological event titled "Cooperation for a Green Future," dedicated to World Environment Day, concluded at Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. This was reported by an online newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden age».
The event was organized by the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO in cooperation with a public organization «Young Naturalist» .
As part of the initiative, a thematic exhibition titled «Eco-Steps: From the Past to the Future» was held, showcasing achievements and projects in the fields of environmental education and nature conservation.
Concurrently, a conference of the same name took place, featuring representatives from relevant ministries and departments, universities, public organizations, and international bodies. Participants discussed issues related to combating climate change, water diplomacy, pollution prevention, as well as ensuring ecological safety and sustainable development.
The event concluded with an award ceremony, during which the organizers presented certificates of honor and commemorative gifts to the most active participants.
