NEW TEXTBOOKS AND A STUDY GUIDE PUBLISHED FOR HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS 

Higher education institutions in Turkmenistan continue to provide all necessary conditions for training young professionals who will contribute to the country's future development. Considerable attention is paid by the state leadership and university faculty to ensuring that students have access to modern educational resources. As the 2025–2026 academic year comes to an end and the summer examination period is underway, the importance of up-to-date textbooks containing valuable knowledge cannot be overstated. Therefore, the publication of several new textbooks and a study guide represents a timely and significant event for students.

One of the recently published textbooks is “Automation of Technological Processes in Industry. Volume II” (authors: B.Mammedov, P.Yalkapov. – Ashgabat: Ylym Publishing House, 2026, 432 pages). The textbook covers the fundamentals of production and process management, structural schemes, types, and characteristics of technological processes. Particular attention is given to automation in the chemical, construction, oil and gas, food processing, and heating industries. The publication is intended for students specializing in automation and may also be useful for industry professionals.

The textbook “Study of Materials in Architecture” (authors: B.Mammedov, Y. Myradov, B.Guwanjov, B.Serdarov, A.Garajayev. – Ashgabat: Ylym Publishing House, 2026, 232 pages) examines the properties of construction materials produced by domestic enterprises and their application in building and architectural design. It is intended for architecture students as well as professionals in the construction sector.

The textbook “Accounting and Analysis in Industry” (authors: O.Halmyradova, O.Godekova, D.Murrikov, M.Jumayev. – Ashgabat: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2026, 246 pages) provides comprehensive coverage of accounting theory, economic analysis, and the accounting and analytical aspects of agricultural and industrial operations.

The textbook “Technology of Garment Production” (authors: G.Karayeva, M.Hydyrova, L.Bekbayeva; Ashgabat: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2026, 308 pages) presents modern garment manufacturing technologies, production processes, and innovative approaches to improving industrial operations. It includes diagrams, illustrations, tables, and reference materials relevant to the field.

The textbook “Zoohygiene” (author: T. Garlyyev; Ashgabat: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2026, 328 pages) covers the hygiene and maintenance of various livestock and poultry species, veterinary and sanitary requirements, as well as aspects of fish farming and animal husbandry. 

Particular attention should be given to the study guide “Verb Forms in the Arabic Language” (author: O.Ovezsakhedov. – Ashgabat: Ylym Publishing House, 2026, 208 pages). Its publication reflects the growing opportunities for learning Arabic and the importance attached to training highly qualified specialists. The guide explores Arabic verb patterns and their significance for the study of Arabic and other Eastern languages. It is intended for Arabic language instructors, students of Arabic language and literature, and a wide readership interested in Arabic studies.
