A PhD Student from Turkmenistan wins «Best Student of the CIS» title at an international competition

PhD student at the Saratov National Research State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky from Turkmenistan Nepesmyrat Gylyjov has won the title of «Best Student of the CIS» at an international competition. This was reported on the university's website.

Nepesmyrat Gylyjov is studying at the postgraduate school of the Faculty of Biology; he completed his bachelor's and master's degrees at Saratov State University with distinction. The young scientist is the author of academic articles and co-author of 3 study guides for students from Turkmenistan.

The PhD student noted that this is a shared victory of the Faculty of Biology of Saratov University.

«For me, having studied here for seven years, the Faculty of Biology has become not just a place of acquiring knowledge — it has become a second family, where I was welcomed, supported and helped to develop. Here I received not only a quality education, but also the opportunity to grow as a person and as a young scientist», said Gylydjov.

In 2024, Nepesmyrat Gylyjov won the «International Student of the Year» nomination at the regional stage of the national award «Student of the Year».
