Meeting Held at the Ministry of Education with the Representative of the Republic of Iraq

On June 25, 2026, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, J. Gurbangeldiyev, and the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Turkmenistan, Jassim Mohammed Al-Attar.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Iraq in the fields of education, science, and cultural-humanitarian relations.

The parties noted the importance of educational cooperation in strengthening friendly relations between the two countries. They also exchanged views on expanding cooperation between higher education institutions, sharing experience, and promoting joint initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, the sides confirmed their readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation and further enrich bilateral relations in the field of education.
