Turkmen State University expands international relations: New scientific and educational projects discussed with Pakistan and Italy

Magtymguly Turkmen State University (TDU) is taking active steps to expand its international cooperation. Within a short period, a series of regular meetings were held at the university with representatives of the world's leading higher education institutions and foreign diplomatic missions. This was reported on the official website of the higher education institution.

This is evidenced by a video conference meeting held with the participation of the university's faculty members and representatives of the international department of the National University of Modern Languages of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the meeting, specific issues regarding the further development of relations in scientific and educational fields were discussed within the framework of the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding.

Furthermore, the Rector of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Orazgeldi Ovezsahedov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Turkmenistan, Martin Brug. The primary objective of these talks was to elevate scientific and educational relations to a new level, share modern expertise, and implement promising joint projects.

The parties emphasized the need to strengthen direct relations between universities and to activate academic exchange programs. Particular attention was paid to exchanging experience with Italian higher education institutions in fields such as humanities, international relations, diplomacy, and global economy, as well as supporting the interest in studying the Italian language, culture, and history at TDU. These established relations will contribute to further enriching interstate cultural and humanitarian cooperation and celebrating educational diplomacy.
