Teacher from Turkmen Agricultural University wins first place at international competition of young scientists

Sona Avisheva, a teacher at the Ecology Department of the S. A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, achieved great success by winning first place in the international competition "Best Young Scientist of the Commonwealth of Independent States," organized by the Kazakhstan-based "Bilim-orkenieti" center. The young scientist was awarded this prestigious prize for her productive research and innovative work. This was reported on the official website of the higher education institution.

Currently, Sona Avisheva is conducting important research to study the impact of liquid organomineral fertilizer made from waste products on the productivity of vegetable crops. Numerous articles dedicated to her scientific work in this field have been published in various languages and highly praised by the scientific community.

The young scientist has previously demonstrated outstanding results on several occasions. In 2023, she emerged as a winner in the international competition "High Technologies and Innovative Developments," organized by the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization. She also won in such scientific project competitions as "The Role of Youth in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals" and "Fertilizer—The Key to a Bountiful Harvest."
