Turkmen State University student wins international intellectual competition

Oguldursun Akmuhammedova, a 5th-year student majoring in Russian Language and Literature at Magtymguly Turkmen State University, has been declared the winner of the international online Olympiad in "Russian Language and Area Studies," organized by the B.B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University (Russian Federation). This was reported on the university's official website.
In the recently held competition, other students from the university majoring in Russian Language and Literature, as well as History, demonstrated outstanding results and secured the runner-up second place. The young talents participated in the Olympiad under the guidance of Jennet Shamyyeva, a lecturer at the Department of Russian Language and Literature.
This international intellectual competition brought together over 200 students from various corners of the globe, including higher education institutions in China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Thailand, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Kazakhstan, and Africa.
The participation of Turkmen students in this prestigious Olympiad was carried out within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Magtymguly Turkmen State University and B.B. Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University. This remarkable victory once again proves the high level of academic preparation of Turkmen students on an international level.
