An active meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Paris between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of our country to the French Republic, Maksat Charyev, and the Executive Vice-President of the world's leading "ESSEC" business school, Dean for Continuing Education and Corporate Affairs, Julien Molorin. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Julien Molorin stated that the French side is highly interested in establishing cooperation with higher education institutions of Turkmenistan in the field of science and education, especially in training highly qualified personnel. The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, such as implementing joint educational programs, organizing student and faculty exchanges, and upgrading the skills of management personnel.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with leading French universities, noting that international educational cooperation is one of the main directions of state policy. In this context, the French side was thoroughly informed about the successful opening and commencement of operations of the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in our country, which trains modern specialists in economics, management, entrepreneurship, and innovative technologies.
Following the talks, the sides decided to develop long-term and fruitful cooperation between the educational systems of the two countries. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to continue regular contacts in order to specify particular areas of cooperation and joint projects in the future.
