Preparations underway for the final national stage of the "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri" contest

Relevant work is being carried out in Turkmenistan to organizedly hold the final national stage of the "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri" ("Pearls of Independence") talent contest for children. Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Mammedov reported to the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the preparations in this area at the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, held via digital system on July 18. This was reported by an online newspaper "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

This contest is of great importance in revealing the talents and abilities of the younger generation and increasing their love for art. In the preliminary rounds of the arts competition, 21 individual children and 14 children's dance, music, and folklore groups, who demonstrated high skill in performing songs and music praising our independent, permanently Neutral Homeland and our happy era, won the right to participate in the final national stage. In this regard, the Vice-Prime Minister submitted a corresponding proposal for the consideration of the Head of State.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that all conditions are being created in Turkmenistan for the younger generation to receive modern education and upbringing, as well as to engage in creativity. The Head of State supported the submitted proposal and instructed the Vice-Prime Minister to thoroughly prepare for the final stage of the "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri" contest and to hold it at a high organizational level.
