A Round Table Discussion in the Format of a Public and Political Dialogue Was Held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University

On July 20, 2026, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, in cooperation with the “Altyn Asyr” TV channel, recorded a public and political discussion dedicated to the implementation of the 2026 Action Plan for the realization of the Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education of Turkmenistan for 2026–2052.

During the discussion, the main directions of the Strategy, its significance in modernizing the higher professional education system, as well as the ongoing efforts aimed at successfully fulfilling the set objectives were discussed in detail. It was particularly emphasized that this strategic document plays an important role in bringing the national education system to a new stage of qualitative development.

        The professors and lecturers who took part in the event spoke about the ongoing work in the country to improve a modern education system that meets international standards and is based on innovative approaches, the widespread introduction of digital technologies, increasing the effectiveness of scientific research activities, as well as developing technological competencies and professional training of young people.

The participants of the discussion proudly noted the holding of the regular meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan. They sincerely congratulated Hero Arkadag, Arkadagly Hero Serdar and the entire Turkmen people on the upcoming significant 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of Turkmenistan, expressing their heartfelt wishes for peace, prosperity, and further progress of the Motherland.
