NEW "ART STUDIES" TEXTBOOK PUBLISHED FOR HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

A new textbook entitled "Art Studies" has been published in Turkmenistan for use in higher education institutions. The publication, authored by A.Baylyyeva and A.Kadyrova, was released by the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan in 2026.
The textbook covers the theoretical foundations of art studies, the types and genres of visual arts, artistic means of expression, and the relationship between art and society. It also introduces modern approaches to the analysis of works of art and supports the development of students' research skills.
The new publication is expected to strengthen the training of future art specialists and contribute to the continued improvement of higher education in Turkmenistan.
