A team of 10 school students from Turkmenistan will take part in the prestigious International World Innovative Student Exhibition (iWISE), which will be held from August 2 to 7 in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The competition will take place at the University of Surrey and will bring together talented students from countries around the world. The news was reported by the «Turkmenistan: Golden Age» online newspaper.
The international event is designed to showcase participants’ knowledge, creativity, and innovative thinking in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), robotics, the English language, and the arts. Contestants will present their projects and skills before an international panel of judges.
The Turkmen delegation will be led by Murat Sakhetgulyyev, an information technology teacher at Specialized Educational Complex No. 1 in Arkadag, and Gochmyrat Bayramov, a history teacher at Specialized Secondary School No. 97 with advanced language studies in Ashgabat. They will supervise the students’ preparation and guide the team throughout the competition. Turkmenistan will be represented by young innovators studying at specialized educational institutions in Ashgabat and Arkadag. Their participation will serve as another demonstration of the achievements of Turkmen school students in the fields of science and technology.
Turkmen students have previously achieved success on the iWISE platform. Earlier this February, they delivered strong performances at the iWISE GLOBAL FINAL 2026 International Robotics Olympiad held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, once again demonstrating their ability to compete successfully at the international level.
