A new textbook entitled "Innovative Technologies in Agronomy" has been published in Turkmenistan for students of agricultural higher education institutions. Authored by Ch.Mammedov, H.Ishankuliyev, B.Hallyyev, and B.Orazgeldiyev, the publication was released by the State Publishing Service of Turkmenistan in 2026 and has been added to the libraries of agricultural universities.
The textbook presents innovative crop production technologies, recent achievements in agricultural science, advanced farming practices, modern irrigation and plant nutrition approaches, and environmentally sustainable agricultural methods. It highlights the practical application of scientific research to improve productivity and efficiency in the agricultural sector.
The publication covers the cultivation of Turkmenistan's major crops, including wheat, cotton, sugar beet, rice, potatoes, grain and silage maize, alfalfa, and cover crops. Designed primarily for university students, the textbook will also serve as a valuable reference for researchers, lecturers, agricultural professionals, farmers, land tenants, and anyone interested in modern agronomic technologies.
