From 26 August to 8 September 2026, an international seminar is being held at Shenyang Normal University in the People’s Republic of China for government officials working in education from Russian-speaking countries, including representatives of Turkmenistan’s education sector. The seminar is organized by the university itself, which brings together representatives from several countries for professional exchange.
As part of the seminar, participants are studying China’s contemporary experience in education management, reforms, and digitalization. The programme includes lectures on the modernization of higher education management, the development of leadership skills, intercultural communication, as well as the concepts of the “smart campus” and “one school — one brand”.
The theoretical sessions are complemented by field visits to educational institutions in Liaoning Province, including an Experimental School, where participants learn about the work of technology, innovation, psychological support, and olympiad training centres. The programme is further enriched by presentations delivered by leaders and professors from leading Chinese universities. In addition, participants visit Xiamen University and the Shenzhen Innovation Centre, where they study mechanisms for cooperation between science, education, and industry, as well as approaches to supporting technology start-ups. The seminar serves as an effective platform for strengthening international cooperation and gaining advanced professional experience.
