Ceremonial event was held

On September 1, 2026, a ceremonial event was held at the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan to mark the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year and celebrate September 1 — the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. The ceremony began with the National Anthem of Turkmenistan. This was followed by a reading of the congratulatory message from Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the schoolchildren, university students, teachers and education professionals of independent and permanently neutral Turkmenistan on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. In the course of the ceremony, several speeches, congratulatory remarks, and heartfelt expressions of pride were delivered in honour of this significant day. The Institute’s enthusiastic students performed songs and dances celebrating the Motherland, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag and the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Arkadagly Hero Serdar. The first bell was then rung. After paying tribute to the State Flag, the first-year students attended the first lesson of the 2026–2027 academic year, held under the motto “Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses”.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the participants expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for their tremendous efforts to promote the scientific and educational achievements of the Turkmen people internationally.
