MYRAT GARRYÝEW ADYNDAKY TÜRKMENISTAN DÖWLET LUKMANÇYLYK UNIWERSITETINIŇ TALYBY «LOMONOSOW-2026» HALKARA UNIWERSİADASYYNDA ULY ÜSTÜNLIK GAZANDY

Students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan achieved high results at the "Lomonosov – 2026" Universiade in linguistics, regional studies, and cultural studies, organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The intellectual competition took place in two stages. In the first, remote qualifying stage, participants were tasked with writing an abstract of an independent scientific research project in linguistics. The second and final stage, held in person in Moscow, comprised linguistic tasks in a foreign language depending on the chosen field.

As part of the Universiade, Turkmen students demonstrated excellent proficiency in Russian, English, and French. The organizers of the event also highlighted their high level of foreign language preparation.

In the finals of the competition, 27 students representing 5 higher education institutions of Turkmenistan took part.

Traditionally, the Universiade is held across four main tracks: "Linguistics," "Regional Studies of Russia," "Foreign Regional Studies," and "Cultural Studies."

In the "Linguistics" track, Kamila Khudaybergenova, a 4th-year student at our medical university, was awarded second place.
