Turkmenistan presents scientific developments at Science Festival in Minsk

Faculty members of the Oguzhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan — Head of the Biotechnology Department O. Soltanova and Head of the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department D. Porrykov — traveled to Minsk on a business trip, where on September 5-6 they took part in the "Science Festival 2026" event. It was organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
The Science Festival is being held for the eighth time and is one of the largest popular science events in Belarus. For many years, it has introduced residents and visitors of Minsk to the latest scientific achievements and helped them gain new knowledge from the world of science and technology.
During the festival, all research institutes and centers of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus presented their innovative developments. Representatives of the Turkmen university presented projects prepared in the field of biotechnology. Their scientific solutions attracted great interest among festival participants.
The Turkmen faculty members exchanged views with professors and researchers from various research institutes of Belarus on work being carried out in genetics and selective breeding, microbiology, and food and agricultural biotechnology.
