A SPECIAL ISSUE OF THE SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL ELECTRONIC JOURNAL “ISSUES OF PHILOLOGY” HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

A special issue of the scientific and methodological electronic journal “Issues of Philology” of Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages dedicated to the glorious 35th anniversary of our sacred Independence has been published. The scientific articles in this issue of the journal describe the great achievements made by permanently Neutral Turkmenistan over the 35 years of Independence in science, education, foreign policy, culture, humanitarian diplomacy, and social development.

The initial pages of the journal reflect the role of Independence and permanent Neutrality in strengthening peace, as well as the high prestige of our Motherland in the international arena, providing a detailed account of our country’s splendid architectural appearance, the region’s first “smart” city of Arkadag, and the steadfast cooperation established with the UN and UNESCO. Information regarding the high place held worldwide by the collection of Magtymguly Pyragy’s manuscripts and our national heritage, as well as the importance of the active work of the UNESCO clubs and chairs opened in the higher educational establishments in educating the youth, runs like a red thread throughout these articles.

Articles in the special issue also devote a special place to the issues of modernizing the foundation of the national educational system and developing gender policy. Detailed attention is given to improving the legislative framework, introducing the digital system into education and science, the achievements of young people in the international competitions, and the active participation of women in the socio-political life through the humanitarian initiatives of the Women’s Union and the Charitable Foundation.

The section dedicated to the development of the education and philology sectors has turned into a grand celebration of genuine scientific creativity and intellectual pursuits. In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan “On Education,” special attention is paid to the foundational role of the national educational system in instilling patriotic upbringing in the younger generation, as well as to its modernization and the active implementation of the digital system. At the same time, in terms of linguistics, information regarding the lexical-semantic features of political terminology, advanced methods of language teaching, and the pathways for the active integration of Turkmenistan’s higher education system into the global scientific and educational space is presented through deep scientific analyses.
