Turkmenistan and Afghanistan opened a new railway bridge

Yesterday, the grand opening of the 177-meter railway bridge of the Serhetabat-Turgundi steel highway took place on the Turkmen-Afghan border, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The ceremony was attended by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Acting Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Afghanistan Molla Mohammad Hassan Akhund.
This bridge will become an important link in the region’s transport infrastructure, helping to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.
