Its provisions require that all content generated by artificial intelligence be clearly identified as such. It is also necessary to provide information about the mechanism for creating this content. In addition, AI will not be listed as a co-author.
The measures introduced are designed to prevent the spread of false information that rapidly developing artificial intelligence can generate.
Also back in August, authorities published an updated bill on academic degrees, which stated that researchers caught using AI to write dissertations would have their degrees revoked. Although the document has not yet been finalized, some Chinese academic journals are already rejecting articles generated by generative AI.
