Prospective Areas of Cooperation in Education Digitalization Discussed with Huawei Leadership

As part of the international forum Amplify Intelligence, organized by Huawei, a meeting took place between the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, Azat Atayev, and Liu Gui, Vice President of Huawei. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in educational technologies and the implementation of digital solutions for education in Turkmenistan.

Additionally, the parties discussed the integration of Huawei’s digital platforms into Turkmenistan’s education system, which would enhance the efficiency of educational process management, monitor student performance, and improve the professional development of teachers. The Deputy Minister informed Huawei’s leadership about the work being done under the leadership of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdymukhamedov, to introduce digital technologies across all sectors of the economy and social sphere. He specifically highlighted the development of ICT education in the country and the innovative digital solutions being introduced in the education system.

The Deputy Minister expressed interest in the innovative solutions presented at the Huawei Connect 2024 exhibition, particularly in the area of the ethical application of AI in education, and in the Huawei ICT Academy project, which offers broad opportunities for cooperation in ICT education.

Liu Gui emphasized the importance of the digital transformation of the education system and highlighted key areas of cooperation, such as the use of AI-based learning management systems, cloud technologies, and big data. The prospects for cooperation through Huawei ICT Academy were also discussed, providing students and teachers with opportunities to obtain international certifications.

Liu Gui confirmed Huawei’s readiness to implement joint projects, offering their technological solutions.
