More than 2 thousand people will take part in the III International Children's Cultural Forum, which will be held from August 22 to 24 on the site of the restored Moscow Palace of Pioneers. This was announced by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
"The International Children's Cultural Forum will be held on August 22 at the Moscow Palace of Pioneers on Vorobyovy Gory, which will open that day after restoration and reconstruction. This year more than 2 thousand children from all 89 regions of the Russian Federation will come to us, some of them will be our guests from abroad. As of today, we already have 15 delegations," she told a press conference at TASS.
Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova noted that children from India, Egypt, Serbia, Belarus, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Brazil, Transnistria, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Jordan and Libya are expected to participate.
The minister said that teenagers aged 12 to 17 can take part in the forum. A total of about 60 events are planned, including master classes, dialogues with prominent cultural figures, sightseeing tours and much more. She noted that the forum is divided into six creative directions, which are supervised by honored masters.
