A lot of work is being done in our country to create a developed sports sector, educate a physically and spiritually healthy young generation. Thanks to the wise policy of the Esteemed President, the championship of Turkmenistan in various sports is being held in order to identify athletes who can increase the sports prestige of our country.
Young people, inspired by the wide opportunities created by Arkadag Serdar, are awarded prizes at international competitions.
On January 29, 2023, held under the motto "Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar", Ashgabat hosted the championship of Turkmenistan in athletics. The 1st year student Pena Babaniyazov of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakayev, Geology Faculty, having successfully performed in the 800 meters race, took first place in the championship of Turkmenistan.
