A Meeting with Renowned Scientist A. Bushmakin Held at the UNESCO Department

Today, at the UNESCO Department “Cultural Heritage: From the Past to the Future” of Magtymguly Turkmen State University, a meeting was held with Anatoly Grigorievich Bushmakin, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences and a specialist from the university’s scientific department. The meeting was dedicated to the acceptance of the scientist as a member of the UNESCO Department. The event was attended by lecturers and students of the UNESCO Department.

For more than twenty years, the renowned scientist Anatoly Bushmakin has been sharing his extensive scientific experience with students and conducting research at our university. Since the 1950s, he has made significant contributions to the development of geological science, worked in various positions at the state corporation “Türkmengeologiýa,” and distinguished himself in conducting geological research across the expanse of our country.

During the meeting, the members of the department informed A. Bushmakin about the activities of the UNESCO Department and introduced him to the research conducted by young lecturers and students. In turn, A. Bushmakin shared his career journey and scientific research with the students and lecturers. Subsequently, the scientist was ceremoniously accepted as a member of the UNESCO Department “Cultural Heritage: From the Past to the Future,” and he assured that he would pass on his research experience to study the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and the peoples of the world.
