Award ceremony for the winners of the 5th Open International Mathematical Olympiad

On April 18, the International University for the Humanities and Development held an awarding ceremony for the winners of the V Open International Mathematical Olympiad.

In the foyer of the university, the attention of foreigners was drawn to the exhibition dedicated to the work of the Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, as well as an exhibition reflecting the widespread introduction of countless opportunities of the digital system into the education system of Turkmenistan. Excellent musical performances in the conference hall of the International University for the Humanities and Development inspired the participants. Several musical performances took place here on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the V Open International Mathematical Olympiad. The great achievements of our beautiful country were vividly reflected in the musical performances. At the award ceremony, which took place in an atmosphere of great joy and excitement, the guests watched musical performances performed by students of the International University for the Humanities and Development and enjoyed the values ​​​​of Turkmen culture and art. Beautiful songs and national dances left an unforgettable impression.

After the musical performances dedicated to the opening ceremony, the award ceremony of the winners of the V Open International Mathematical Olympiad was held. According to the results of the competition, students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan won a total of 201 medals, students of the Republic of Uzbekistan won a total of 77 medals, students of the Russian Federation won a total of 29 medals, students of the United Arab Emirates won a total of 5 medals, students of the Republic of India won a total of 2 medals, students of the Republic of Poland won a total of 1 medal, students of Romania won a total of 1 medal, students of the Republic of Indonesia won a total of 1 medal,

According to the regulations, the jury of the competition will include professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of our country and foreign countries participating in the competition. As part of the Olympics, excursions to the ancient fortress of Nisa, the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan, as well as to the capital’s shopping and entertainment centers, such as “Ashgabat”, “Arkach”, “Berkarar", "Gulzemin" were organized for the guests who arrived in our capital. Foreign guests had a great time in the reading room of the International University of Humanities and Development, where all the conditions were created for this. In addition, they held several sports games together with Turkmen students on the playgrounds of the university’s sports complex.
