From June 3 to 12, 2025, the International Chess Championship among young people of Western Asian countries was held in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. In this competition, a student of the Department of Language Training of the Oil and Gas Faculty of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Shokhradova Lala, successfully performed in classical chess and took second place.
These achievements clearly demonstrate the successful implementation of the tasks set to take sports to new heights in our country and in the international arena.
