An exhibition of works by Turkmen artists dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi opened in Tashkent

On August 16, 2024, the opening ceremony of the exhibition of works by Turkmen artists dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Fragi was held in the building of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Turkmenistan Sh.Meredev, Chairman of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan A.Nuridinov, cultural and artistic figures, as well as representatives of mass media.
This exhibition features more than 30 paintings by Turkmen artists that represent events from the life of Magtymguly Fragi, as well as elements of Turkmen cultural heritage. During the event, the important role of this exhibition in glorifying the works of the great Turkmen classical poet Magtymguly Fragi was noted.
The exhibition will continue until August 22, 2024.
