Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea strengthen partnership

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdiyev met with Director General of the North-East and Central Asia Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Mr. Kang Young-shin in Seoul on 31 July.
During the talks, the sides discussed priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea, paying special attention to expanding cooperation in various fields. They also exchanged views on a number of issues, including bilateral and multilateral events planned for the near future, emphasising the importance of developing mutually beneficial cooperation covering economic, cultural and scientific spheres.
In continuation of the conversation, the sides discussed opportunities for strengthening business ties between the countries, as well as prospects for joint projects in the energy and technological fields. The meeting demonstrated the common interest of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea in further development of friendly and partnership relations.
